Leroy Campbell was convicted of the murder of Lisa Skidmore 37. He was also convicted of having raped her.
After raping her he strangled her and then set fire to her house on 24 November 2016.
A probation officer that had worked with Leroy Campbell was sacked after his conviction and another was demoted to an administrative role after it was heard that shortly after being released from prison he had said that he was thinking of raping again.
